Solar Photovoltaics

The commoditisation of solar photovoltaic (solar) technology has brought costs down by over 80% in the last 15 years.

We believe that the low cost, ease of installation and standardisation of solar technology will make it a key pillar of the energy transition and that solar projects can benefit communities when developed correctly:

  1. Affordable clean energy. Solar projects typically lower the cost of energy for consumers.

  2. Low impact. Solar projects require less civil works, intervention and physical infrastructure than other forms of energy generation (such as wind energy, gas turbines, hydro power and nuclear).

  3. Energy security. Solar is a reliable and dependable source of electricity that decouples energy bills from geopolitics.
